My Updated Blog Schedule

Hello everybody,

I thought as it's the last day of March I'd make a post saying about my blog posting schedule for April and hopefully for the rest of the year. I suppose April is going to be a test as to whether I can stick to the schedule as we know the last time I didn't quite stick to a schedule.

Anyway, I've done a lot of thinking about days in which I'm busy at university and when I'm not busy. From doing this thinking I've come up with a reasonable schedule which could lead me to posting three times a week.

I figured those would be good days as Tuesday I have a lecture from 9am until 11am and nothing after so I'll have plenty of time to make a post on that day. Usually that day spent doing nothing so now I can actually do something on that day.
Thursday is another good day as I only have one lecture between 11am and 1pm so that's another good day for me to make a post.

Then of course there's the weekend where I'm normally doing nothing. Sometimes I may do something with my friends but most of the time I'm just chilling in my room. I thought it's better to be on either of those days so if I don't post on Saturday I could post on the laziest day of the week which is Sunday.

Anyway, I thought a schedule would be good as it shows you guys when you can expect a post so you don't have to wait for me to make a post at a random time. It'll also make me post more with this schedule. If I can't write post on that day then I'll make a post saying that I have nothing interesting to tell you guys or I'll just find a tag to do as they're always fun plus you get to know me a little bit better.

To find out when I make a post you can follow this blog or you can follow this blog on bloglovin by clicking the link. I follow everyone back on there. https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/megan-time-14514819
You can also follow my own Twitter which is @MeganIvyT and tweet on there whenever I make a new post. The link is here: https://twitter.com/MeganIvyT I also have an Instagram of the same name where I post on when I'm not making a blog post. https://www.instagram.com/meganivyt/
Social media is where you can find me when I'm not making a post.

So I'll be back with another post on the weekend. See you then guys.

March Favourites

As it's coming to the end of March I thought I'd share with you some favourites I've had this month.
Here we go.

Books

I've been reading a lot lately and the book that I just finished reading is Paper Towns by John Green. I think I mentioned this in a previous favourites before but basically I started reading the first few chapters then I put the book down and just forgot about it. Anyway, I decided to start reading it again and I really enjoyed it. It's a really good read.

Another book which I bought is called 365 Blog Topic Ideas by Dana Fox. I bought this book for obvious reasons and I've actually liked going through the ideas. I can just open a page and an idea will show then I'll just feel inspired to write about the topic. An example of a topic in the book is 'things you do to feel good'. Stuff like that really helps to get me inspired about what I could write about. If you have blogger's block which as some of you know I do get then I recommend this book. It's a really good buy if you're a blogger.

Films

A film that I saw in the cinema this month is Allegiant. I loved every minute of it. If you loved the Divergent series then you'll love this film. I believe it's a great film. It has loads of funny scenes and action scenes. I loved this film so that's why it's in my March favourites.

Beauty

My current favourite mascara is the Collection Colour Lash All Day Wear Colour Mascara. It's a really great mascara and it's also affordable. It's not too much on the eyes and it doesn't smudge. This is really handy as I'm always rubbing my eyes from time to time. I definitely recommend this mascara if you're looking for a natural mascara for school or university or just in general.

Lately I've been really interested in buying Zoella's pamper range. I love a good pampering session and these products have been really good in helping with a good pampering session.

One of the products I've been loving is Zoella's Blissful Mistful body mist. This perfume is a great perfume and it smells amazing. I got it for Christmas and I am in love with it. I can just spray a little bit on and it lasts a while. I love it.

Next I've been loving Zoella's Foam Sweet Foam Shower Gel.  It's a really good shower gel and it smells nice. It's also a cleansing shower gel so I feel like it's good for my body's skin.

Finally, I've been in love with Zoella's Kissy Missy Lip Balm. This is a great lip balm and I keep it in my bag all the time. It tints your lips slightly pink and keeps my lips nice and smooth.

My Pamper Routine

Everyone needs a little me time and a pampering session. That's exactly what I did yesterday. I'm going to tell you all the things I did for my pamper routine.

The first thing I did was run a bath. I've missed having baths at university so it's nice to be able to have a bath while I'm at home. I feel like a bath is so much more relaxing and it's great if you want a little time to yourself. I also lit some candles because I feel like that's a great touch if you just want to relax. Also bubbles are essential for me plus the bubbles I have were scented lavender so it makes the bathroom smell great.

I like to have a little music playing just because I don't like it when it's quiet while I'm having a bath.

I made myself a cup a tea too in my new mug which I bought at B&M Bargains because I love tea and wanted to have a drink near me while I bathe.

I made two purchases yesterday because I new I was going to have a bath and wanted a little pampering. I bought Zoella's Fresh Fizz Bath Bombs and Superdrug's Dead Sea Mud mask. The bath bomb felt so good in the bath and it made the bath smell nice. I feel like doing a face mask in the bath is the perfect time to do it because you can put it on the just relax for a bit then wash it off after 10 minutes. This face mask made my skin feel smooth and also I can reuse it again and again so that's a bonus.

These are also the products I used in the bath. I used the Radox Feel Relaxed Lavender bubble bath for the bubbles and it gives a nice lavender scent. I use Timotei's normal to greasy hair shampoo to wash my hair. I have to say if you have greasy hair and feel you need to wash your hair everyday then use this shampoo. I no longer wash my hair everyday thanks to this shampoo. My hair no longer feels greasy the next day. I also don't use conditioner any more because my hair dresser told me that it can cause greasy hair. The next product is Nivea's Refreshing Facial wash which is what I use to cleanse my face. Finally I use the Body Shop's raspberry shower gel to clean my body.

Anyway, that's all for my pamper routine. I don't do much except probably have a cosy night in but if you want to know what I normally do for a cosy night in you can look at a previous post where I share what I do during a cosy night in. You can click the link here to see that post:

I'll be back tomorrow with another post. See you then guys.

Country Walks

I feel so lucky that I live on a farm because I am able to go out for a walk through the beautiful country side and just breathe in the fresh air. It's so calm and relaxing. It feels so nice because you barely see any cars on the country lanes apart from maybe the odd tractor passing by but that's about it.

It was also a nice day so I thought I'd go for a walk by myself. Here are all the pictures I took so that you can see for yourself how beautiful the country side is.

And of course one of the best parts is being able to just step outside onto the farm and it feels relaxing.

Another great part is being able to see all the animals too like horses, sheep and dogs.

Anyway, that's all for this post today. I hope you enjoyed all the pictures and that it inspired you to go out and take a nice walk somewhere out in the country. It is a beautiful and relaxing place.

I'll be back tomorrow with another post.
See you then.

Finishing Paper Towns and my Reading List

I finally finished reading Paper Towns.

I'm so glad I've finally finished this book. I found out from looking at Time Hop that I bought the book a year ago so it's a relief that it's another book off my reading list. I have a long reading list of books I want to read but haven't got round to it. It doesn't help that I've also bought more books and have a list of books on my Amazon wish list. Which I'm not going to purchase until I've finished reading my recently purchased books.

Anyway, with regards to Paper Towns. Don't worry there will be no spoilers in this post. I thought it was a great book. It's really interesting because it starts off as like an adventure and then all of sudden something happens which results in solving a kind of mystery. It had me wanting to know what happens next. If you haven't read it yet then I definitely recommend.  John Green is a great writer. I hope to read his other books at some point. Yes they are also on my Amazon wish list.

Now my next read is of course a book which I mentioned in my Trafford Centre Haul. It's Carrie Hope Fletcher's book All I know which I have started to read but I wanted to finish reading Paper Towns first. I'm looking forward to reading it as it seems to be an advice book about growing up and her experiences.

I also have another book which I plan to read after that which is actually a book in which Zoella mentioned in her February favourites which is called Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella. When she mentioned it I was interested so I looked it up and I actually liked the sound of it. If you want a book to read I believe this book might be a good read.

If you also want other books to read I actually looked up Sophie Kinsella's book and they all look really interesting. I have actually ordered her book Can you keep a Secret? which I thought looked good and I already wanted to know what happens after reading the summary.

Anyway, that's all I have to say now. As you know I'm turning into more of a bookworm than ever before now which is why I'm telling you guys my reading list in case any of you fancy reading more over the spring or summer. I thought these recommendations might help you guys if you're also stuck in what to read.

Posting everyday on the last week of March

Hello everyone!

I was sitting on my sofa at home by myself the other day and I was thinking about my blog. I love writing posts and I just thought of posting regularly again. As you know my posting has been very random recently and I've had no set schedule.

This got me thinking that it's the last week of March and I thought I would make a post everyday from now until the end of March. I just thought it would be fun and get me back on track to posting more regularly on this blog.

With regards to posting regularly on this blog. I am going to set a schedule again in April and stick to this time. Just because that way you guys will expect a post on that day even if it's a post about what I did during the day. I will post something.

I have so many draft posts and ideas written down already so I'm going to publish these posts either this week or when I'm posting more regularly in April.

Anyway, that's all I have to say. I'll be back tomorrow with another post.

See you then guys.

Home

Yesterday I went back home. It was a long drive but I finally made it. It feels nice to be home for a while and just forget the work and the stress for a bit.

Today, I visited my family and went for a walk along the beach. It felt nice looking around the beach and just feeling at home. I also took this opportunity to take some pictures because I don't have many pictures of Aberystwyth and I just wanted to take some pictures. The scenery is so beautiful and just picture perfect.

Anyway, here are all the pictures I took.

I think you'll agree in that Aberystwyth is a beautiful place from looking at these pictures.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post. The internet isn't so bad at home any more so there will be more posts coming out regularly.

I'll be back with another post.

See you soon guys.
