My Updated Blog Schedule

Image
Hello everybody, I thought as it's the last day of March I'd make a post saying about my blog posting schedule for April and hopefully for the rest of the year. I suppose April is going to be a test as to whether I can stick to the schedule as we know the last time I didn't quite stick to a schedule. Anyway, I've done a lot of thinking about days in which I'm busy at university and when I'm not busy. From doing this thinking I've come up with a reasonable schedule which could lead me to posting three times a week. I figured those would be good days as Tuesday I have a lecture from 9am until 11am and nothing after so I'll have plenty of time to make a post on that day. Usually that day spent doing nothing so now I can actually do something on that day. Thursday is another good day as I only have one lecture between 11am and 1pm so that's another good day for me to make a post. Then of course there's the weekend where I'm normall

March Favourites

Image
As it's coming to the end of March I thought I'd share with you some favourites I've had this month. Here we go. Books I've been reading a lot lately and the book that I just finished reading is Paper Towns by John Green. I think I mentioned this in a previous favourites before but basically I started reading the first few chapters then I put the book down and just forgot about it. Anyway, I decided to start reading it again and I really enjoyed it. It's a really good read.  Another book which I bought is called 365 Blog Topic Ideas by Dana Fox. I bought this book for obvious reasons and I've actually liked going through the ideas. I can just open a page and an idea will show then I'll just feel inspired to write about the topic. An example of a topic in the book is 'things you do to feel good'. Stuff like that really helps to get me inspired about what I could write about. If you have blogger's block which as some of you know I do

My Pamper Routine

Image
Everyone needs a little me time and a pampering session. That's exactly what I did yesterday. I'm going to tell you all the things I did for my pamper routine. The first thing I did was run a bath. I've missed having baths at university so it's nice to be able to have a bath while I'm at home. I feel like a bath is so much more relaxing and it's great if you want a little time to yourself. I also lit some candles because I feel like that's a great touch if you just want to relax. Also bubbles are essential for me plus the bubbles I have were scented lavender so it makes the bathroom smell great. I like to have a little music playing just because I don't like it when it's quiet while I'm having a bath. I made myself a cup a tea too in my new mug which I bought at B&M Bargains because I love tea and wanted to have a drink near me while I bathe. I made two purchases yesterday because I new I was going to have a bath a

Country Walks

Image
I feel so lucky that I live on a farm because I am able to go out for a walk through the beautiful country side and just breathe in the fresh air. It's so calm and relaxing. It feels so nice because you barely see any cars on the country lanes apart from maybe the odd tractor passing by but that's about it. It was also a nice day so I thought I'd go for a walk by myself. Here are all the pictures I took so that you can see for yourself how beautiful the country side is. And of course one of the best parts is being able to just step outside onto the farm and it feels relaxing. Another great part is being able to see all the animals too like horses, sheep and dogs. Anyway, that's all for this post today. I hope you enjoyed all the pictures and that it inspired you to go out and take a nice walk somewhere out in the

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everybody! I hope you all have a lovely day wherever you are. I hope you get lots of chocolate and try not to eat it all in one day. Which is a really big struggle.  Anyway, have a great day with however way you spend it and enjoy yourself. Megan x

Finishing Paper Towns and my Reading List

Image
I finally finished reading Paper Towns. I'm so glad I've finally finished this book. I found out from looking at Time Hop that I bought the book a year ago so it's a relief that it's another book off my reading list. I have a long reading list of books I want to read but haven't got round to it. It doesn't help that I've also bought more books and have a list of books on my Amazon wish list. Which I'm not going to purchase until I've finished reading my recently purchased books. Anyway, with regards to Paper Towns. Don't worry there will be no spoilers in this post. I thought it was a great book. It's really interesting because it starts off as like an adventure and then all of sudden something happens which results in solving a kind of mystery. It had me wanting to know what happens next. If you haven't read it yet then I definitely recommend.  John Green is a great writer. I hope to read his other books at some point. Yes they are

Posting everyday on the last week of March

Image
Hello everyone! I was sitting on my sofa at home by myself the other day and I was thinking about my blog. I love writing posts and I just thought of posting regularly again. As you know my posting has been very random recently and I've had no set schedule. This got me thinking that it's the last week of March and I thought I would make a post everyday from now until the end of March. I just thought it would be fun and get me back on track to posting more regularly on this blog. With regards to posting regularly on this blog. I am going to set a schedule again in April and stick to this time. Just because that way you guys will expect a post on that day even if it's a post about what I did during the day. I will post something. I have so many draft posts and ideas written down already so I'm going to publish these posts either this week or when I'm posting more regularly in April. Anyway, that's all I have to say. I'll be back tomorrow with anothe

Home

Image
Yesterday I went back home. It was a long drive but I finally made it. It feels nice to be home for a while and just forget the work and the stress for a bit. Today, I visited my family and went for a walk along the beach. It felt nice looking around the beach and just feeling at home. I also took this opportunity to take some pictures because I don't have many pictures of Aberystwyth and I just wanted to take some pictures. The scenery is so beautiful and just picture perfect.  Anyway, here are all the pictures I took.  I think you'll agree in that Aberystwyth is a beautiful place from looking at these pictures. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post. The internet isn't so bad at home any more so there will be more posts coming out regularly.  I'll be back with another post. See you soon guys. Megan x
