First Assessment Complete

Hey guys!

So today I had my first assessment which was a presentation. I had to do a presentation on my own in front of my lecturer and a camera.

I was so nervous when I woke up. I couldn't eat anything, but I did eat Belvita breakfast biscuits and had a cup of tea.

I spent the morning practising what I was going to say and going through each of my PowerPoint slides.

Then it was time and I walked into the room. As expected there was the lecturer and a camera.

I guess it wasn't so bad as it was only in front of my lecturer.

He chatted to me before I started asking how I was and basically just let me set up my PowerPoint.

Then when I was ready, he turned on the camera and I began my presentation.

It went well. I said everything I needed to say. I had my note cards and I barely looked at them, although I did have a computer screen which I occasionally glanced at and I stumbled over some words.

After it was over I felt relieved. It went by fast and I felt really happy to have it done.

So yeah, I've done my first assessment. I'm not even going to think about how well I did, I just need to focus now on my other assessments.

My Future Plans

Planning for the future is probably one of the most scariest things. Especially when you have an end goal but have no idea how to achieve that goal. Of course many things can go wrong and you're kind of terrified to take that risk. That's how I'm feeling right now. 30 Things To Do Before I'm 30

I thought I would do one of those posts where I talk about things I want to do in the future and why not do a 30 things I want do before I'm 30 so I have about nine years to achieve these thirty goals for myself. It's also something I could look back on when I am thirty years old to see if I actually have achieved any of these things. Hopefully I will but we'll have to wait and see in nine years time. 1. Get my degree Now this is probably an obvious one as I'm in my third year of university but honestly after two years of doing university it would be nice if next year I could have a degree. Chapter Two

The end of the longest month of the year to enter the shortest month of the year, except it's a leap year so instead of twenty eight days, we have twenty nine days. How exciting.  I've had an interesting first month of the year. I booked a once in a lifetime trip to Las Vegas and I'm also planning on booking a holiday to Ireland which is very exciting as I've never been to Ireland before. I think this year is going to be full of adventures so I'm looking forward to what this year will bring. It's getting me motivated to start living a healthier lifestyle though. Eating less and moving more.  I'm also still saving up on top of all the holidays, I hope to buy a car this year. I'm not sure what I'm planning on doing this February. I know there's Valentine's Day which as a single person is a day I detest, although I'm going to make plans and celebrate my single hood. Then of course there's pancake day which is always a treat.
