My Lazy Morning Routine

Image
Hey guys! So today I thought I would show you my lazy morning routine which is pretty much my morning routine most of the time because I get really lazy. The first thing I do in the morning is wake up (obviously). I then grab my laptop which is on the floor under my bed because that's where I put it after I finish using it at night and also it stops me from standing on it if I need to get up in the middle of the night.  When I log on to my laptop I check my emails and social media. Twitter: @MeganIvyT  After that I finally decide to leave my bed and make it. Yes I sleep with a meerkat. I then go downstairs to the kitchen and make some coffee. I go back upstairs with my coffee. I don't bother with breakfast because I get lazy. I know it's the important meal of the day but I'm just not hungry in the mornings. Anyway, I lay down on my bed and just watch YouTube videos for a while like Zoella and Sacconejolys

One More Week To Go

Image
Hey guys! So next week on Sunday I'll be starting my journey to university.  I'm both excited and nervous. I'm excited because it's a new chapter in my life. I get to be independent and make my own choices. I'll also hopefully be able to meet new people and make new friends.  However, I'm nervous because I'll be 3 hours away from home.  I'm not going to know anyone when I first get there. I'm nervous about if I'll struggle with the work. I'm also living on my own. No more mum helping me with things. I have to work out things by myself or with other people.  I know for a fact during the first and second week of uni I'm going to be homesick. That's why from looking at videos and blogs the biggest tip I've found to stop you from being homesick is make your room look as homely and familiar as possible. Bring most of your bedroom decorations that way you won't feel like your sleeping in a strangers bedroom. Y

My Current Favourites

Image
I decided to make a post about my current favourites as recently I've had a few favourites. Some are new and some are old. So yeah. Let's do this. Books So as you know I've been rereading the Harry Potter books so I figured they definitely have to be favourite. I'm currently halfway through the Order of the Phoenix. After rereading them I have noticed how much the films miss out on great parts to the story. Especially in Goblet of Fire and the Order of Phoenix. Then again it does make the books more enjoyable to have extra bits that the movies doesn't. I haven't read any other books a part from the Harry Potter series even though I have loads of books I haven't read yet. I've already decided what books I'm taking to uni and I'm planning on reading Paper Towns as I haven't got round to it yet and McFly Unsaid Things... Our Story as I also haven't gotten around to reading it. YouTubers So recently I discovered Smosh and Smosh game

My Uni Essentials

Image
Hey guys! So as you know, I'm going off to university on September 27th and that's in 15 days. That why I thought I would make a post of all the essentials I think you should take to uni if you're living away from home. Kitchen stuf f -  As you're living away from home you're going to need to cook for yourself and so you'll need some kitchen stuff. Things like pots and pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, tea towels, spatula, spoon, colander (for pasta and rice). Also take a basic grocery shop before you go so that you don't have to worry about grocery shopping during Freshers week. Bedding - You're going to be needing to take a duvet, pillows, covers and blankets with you as uni's don't provide you with them. I suggest bring spare covers with you so you can wash the other. Toiletries -  Even though they'll be shops where you live to buy toiletries, it's better to stock up before you go rather than buying it with your student fina

Me-Time Tag

Image
What do you watch or read during me-time? I like to watch films that make me smile. So for me it'll be a musical. I either watch Cats or Shrek the musical as they make me smile and I know they'll cheer me up if I'm feeling down. I'll also read whatever book I'm currently reading and right now I'm rereading the Harry Potter books. I'm currently on my favourite of the series which is Goblet of Fire. I also like to read fanfiction because I enjoy it and there is some good fanfiction out there. What do you wear during me-time? Comfy clothes like leggings, cosy socks, onesies, pyjamas, jumpers. Anything I feel comfortable in. What are your me-time beauty products? Sometimes I'll put on some nail polish if I feel like it. I may put some moisturiser on. I'm not really wanting to put some make up on just because it's me time and I tend to get lazy on me time. I will put on some lip balm and also deodorant because I don't want to be smelling

Autumn ♥

Image
Hey guys! So summer is officially over and now it's time for Autumn or Fall as some people call it. I really like this time of year, mostly cause it's my birthday October 4th, but there's other things to like: Jumpers Cosy socks Hats, gloves & scarves Candles Autumn leaves Wearing onesies Listening to the rain outside Halloween Bonfire night Knowing Christmas is in 3 months time Darker evenings Fireworks It's also the start of another school year for some people. For me it's a new chapter in my life as I have finished school and I'll be going to university on September 27th. As it's the start of a new season and a new month, maybe it's the time for a positive change.  Start getting up early so that your days feel longer.  Maybe start getting fit and having a healthy lifestyle.  It's up to you. ♥ Megan x
