Beauty Q&A

What's your favourite eye shadow colour to wear?
My favourite eye shadow colour to wear is a brown colour. I like to be very natural with my eyes rather than extreme. My favourite eye shadow palette is W7 Naked Nudes eye shadow palette.

What's the one product you wouldn't leave your house without?
I would not leave the house without lip balm. I cannot stand having dry lips and I like to keep them moisturise. My favourite lip balm is Pepsi Cherry lip balm or Vaseline. They keep my lips moisturised.

What's your favourite make up look?

My favourite make up look is just a natural face. With a brown eyeshadow, no foundation just concealer and powder with a pink blush at the cheeks, some lip balm and black mascara with black eye liner.

Which feature do you try to downplay/cover up?

I try to cover up the dark circles under my eyes as well as spots on my forehead and chin.

Your favourite make up brand, if you could pick only ONE to exist?
I would pick W7 because they have reasonably priced make up and each product is good quality. It's not at all a cheap and tacky brand. It's a cheat and good quality brand.

Which product have you re-purchased OVER and OVER again?

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. It's my go to powder. I only use this as a base. I don't use foundation at all.

Which product would you NEVER repurchase again and why?

Maybelline Baby Lips. It does nothing to moisturise my lips. It doesn't last very long and dries up my lips.

One beauty treatment you would always PAY to have done?

I've never paid to have beauty treatment done but if I did. It would have to be a manicure.

One beauty treatment you would NEVER pay to have done?

I would never pay to have a spray tan. I'm sorry but what is the point. Half the time people end up looking like oranges. Why do people do it? I don't see the point. If you want a real tan. Go outside in the sun!

One beauty trick you can share with everyone?
I don't know if it's a trick, but when I use powder I use a big fluffy brush over my face but under my eyes I use a small brush because it covers the dark circles more.

Best advice you've ever been given regarding beauty and make up?

Always moisturise.

100 Questions No One Ever Asks

Hey guys!

So I decided I would make a tag post on the 100 questions no one ever asks as I thought it would be fun and interesting to answer. I did not make this tag, I'm just doing it for fun and feel free to do it yourself too.

Anyway, let's do this.

1. Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?

Results day yesterday... What am I going to do now?

Hey guys!

So yesterday morning was stressful and nerve-racking. I was getting my A Level results and UCAS was telling me whether or not I got accepted into my first choice uni. I was sweating and shaking all morning until I went downstairs and sat with my mum at 8. I logged into UCAS track and freaked out a little when I saw what I saw.

I got accepted into my firm choice!
I was so happy and it didn't seem real.
So I'll be going to the University Of Chester in the Warrington Campus to study
Advertising and Media Studies.

Congratulations to anyone who got into Uni or who have figured out what they're doing with their life.
Remember a piece of paper does not define you and you can do whatever you want.
Anyway, after I found out I was in my firm choice Uni. Collecting my results didn't seem so bad. I knew I had met the conditions and did something right.
However, when I went to collect my results. I was a little surprised. My firm choice wanted two Cs plus the pass of the Welsh Bac. I had a B in Welsh Bac. A C in Media Studies (one mark off a B, very annoying). A D in Art. An E in ICT. I'm not disappointed with my results as they are all A Levels. I have four A Levels. They are better than getting a U. My firm choice still accepted me though and I'm so happy they did as I've been thinking about going there for months and now a weight has been taken off my shoulders. I finally know what happens next with my life.

Anyway, be prepared for some Uni related posts in the future and again congratulations to all that got their A Level results. You did your best and that's all that matters.

I'll be back on Monday with another post. Bye guys. I love you all.

A Level results day this week

Hey guys!

As some of you know this year I was doing my A Levels and I finished them in June. I've had a month and a half not to worry about results, but now the time has come. Results day for me is this Thursday. (August 13) and I'm getting scared. This day literally decides my future and whether or not I go to uni. They say have a back up plan if things don't go well but honestly I don't have a back up. I know there's a thing called clearing for if you don't achieve the grades that were asked for. That basically gives you courses that are accepting anyone either from the uni you chose or similar courses you wanted to do. I think they may even give you options you never even thought of doing.

Anyway, there's no point in worrying or panicking just yet as results day hasn't yet. Anything could happen. I might not get the grades but the uni may still want me. You just don't know. Don't worry about letting your family down either because it's not there future. It's yours.

Just keep calm and carry on as they say. Wait and see what happens. I can guarantee I'll be making a post on Friday to let you know how things went on Thursday. It can either be a happy post or a sad post. You'll just have to wait and see.

To all of you that are receiving their results on Thursday or receiving results at some point this month. Good luck. I know you did your best and it's not the end of the world. Just don't panic yet. Wait until the day of your results. All will be fine.

Anyway, that's all I have to say about it. Good luck to everyone getting their results and I'll be back on Friday with another post.
Bye guys. I love you all.

My Blog Schedule!

Hey guys!

I want to post regularly on this blog rather than come out with a random post on an unexpected day. So I decided to come up with a schedule where I post twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. I was thinking this would be easier seeing as I rarely do anything on those days and I thought it would be a good idea to post at the start of the week and the end of the week. I may post something in between if there was something on my mind and I just wanted to post something.
Anyway, that's about it.

Feel free to follow me on my social media accounts if you want to see what I'm up to when I'm not blogging.
My username is @MeganIvyT for both my Twitter and Instagram.

So yeah, that's all I have to say and I'll be back on Monday with another post.
Bye guys. I love you all.

Things to do if you're bored

Hey guys!

Summer is finally here and I bet some of you are bored and have no idea what to do. Well I thought I would give you some ideas of what you can do if you're bored this Summer or any time really.

  1. Clean or organize your room - Take a look around your room and see if it's messy. If you're like me there may be some clothes on the floor, your desk is untidy and your make up is everywhere. Just have a day spent dedicating to cleaning your room. It takes time you know and it gets you motivated to be productive. You might also be in the mood to rearrange your room. You have no idea how many times I was in the mood to move my furniture around. You can always move it back if you don't like it and get some help with the heavy stuff. You don't want a wardrobe falling on top of you.
  2. Read or reread a book series - Most people are all about phones and technology but there's nothing like reading a good book. I'm not even talking about a kindle or audio books. I mean an actual book. I'm currently rereading the Harry Potter series and I love it. I forgot how amazing they were and once I start reading a page I struggle to stop. Plus you don't have to read in the house. Go into your garden and sit on the grass and read. You can read while your sunbathing on the beach. Simple.
  3. Go out somewhere - I bet some of you would just love to sit on your bed all summer and just watch YouTube videos/Netflix and go on social media. Honestly, that's gonna make you bored because you may be rewatching videos you've already seen and it can get boring. So just go out somewhere. You don't even need to spend money. Go to the beach. Go to the park. Go for a walk in the woods or just go for a walk around your hometown.
  4. Try exercising and getting fit - You don't need to bur any exercising equipment or fancy an exercise DVD. You can do it in your own bedroom. There's loads of exercise routines on YouTube. I recommend Lucy Wyndham-Read (LWR Fitness). She does great work outs and has great fitness tips and you can do them from your own home.
  5. Start a blog or a YouTube channel - Nowadays loads of people are posting on the internet so why not just write a blog and write about things you like. You can even make a YouTube channel if you're confident enough. Maybe even start vlogging. You never know you might like it and it could be fun.
There's always stuff like watching films or tv series on Netflix for hours on end as well as playing board games with your family. Maybe even try doing a jigsaw puzzle. Sometimes that can be fun and it's very time consuming.

Anyway, that's about it from me. I'll be back soon with another post. Bye guys. I love you all.
